I booked the breakfast and dinner, and the dinner were surprisingly generous. They do provide pick up and delivery service at certain timing, you just need to check with them in advance.

We have to share the slipper with others.

This is the only guesthouse in the Shiretoko area, and is recommended if you are looking for cost-effective accommodation. If you rent a car, the parking lot is right in front. There is a large public bath (hot spring).

It is far from the center (bus stop), and there are no shuttles. In winter, you have to climb a hill covered with snow (ice). Checking in/out can be a bit difficult.

We had a good stay at this hotel in Shiretoko. The staff were very kind and helpful. They picked us up from the bus stop when we arrived and took us back on time when we left. As two women with heavy suitcases in the snow, this support helped us a lot. We really appreciated it.

However, the onsen management could be improved. We saw a mother bring a boy who was old enough to speak into the women’s bath. We also saw a guest enter the bath during menstruation. Clearer rules and better management would help all guests feel more comfortable.
